My name is Steven Adler, and I am a student at Brown University. I am double-majoring in Economics and Organizational Studies, but I am also very interested in how psychology and human behavior influence those fields. Some of my favorite thinkers are Malcolm Gladwell, Dan Ariely, Daniel Kahneman, and Amos Tversky because of the work they've done on trends in social interactions and decision-making.
I created this blog to help young people with financial decision-making, both in their day-to-day lives and in planning for the future. There is a lot of disparate information floating around on the Internet about teen finances, and I hope to solve that problem by synthesizing the material into manageable chunks. Of course, I too struggle with many of these financial issues, and so I hope that writing this blog will help me come to better understand the finances of my own life. I am certainly not perfect, but by putting my thoughts in words I hope that I can improve.
